  • Peixian Tan

    Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

    Mr. Peixian Tan has served as our Director since January 2018. He has served as our CEO and Chairman since September 2025. Mr. Tan joined us in 2005 and has served as a vice president of Beijing Kuke Music since 2016 and the general manager of BMF Culture since 2020. Prior to joining us, Mr. Tan served as an operations manager at Beijing Qingdian Wanwei Technology Co., Ltd., specializing in telecommunication products. Mr. Tan received an associate’s degree in computer science from Beijing Chaoyang Vocational University in 2003.

  • Lung Yu

    Director

    Mr. Lung Yu has served as our Director since July 2020. Mr. Yu is the founder of the Beijing Music Festival and has served as the director of Beijing Music Festival Culture Communications Co., Ltd. since November 2018. As one of the most preeminent Chinese conductors, Mr. Yu has served as the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Musicians Association since 2019 and was recognized as “the most powerful figure in China’s Western classical music scene” by The New York Times. Mr. Yu is currently the Artistic Director & Chief Conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Music Director of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the Music Director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. Over the years, Mr. Yu has received numerous prestigious honors and distinctions for his musical and cross-cultural contributions, including the Arts Patronage Award of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation in 2002, L’onorificenza di commendatore awarded by the Italian President in 2005, France’s highest honour of merit la Légion d’Honneur in 2014, the Global Citizen Award by the Atlantic Council and the Sanford Medal by Yale University’s College of Music in 2015, and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2016. Mr. Yu was also elected a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2016. Mr. Yu received his bachelor's degree from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1987 and master's degree in conducting from the Universität der Künste Berlin in 1992.

  • Xingping Zuo

    Director

    Mr. Xingping Zuo has served as our Director since January 2018. Mr. Zuo has served as the chairman of Anhui Huanbowan High Speed Steel Mill Roll Co., Ltd. since February 2017 and the chairman and general manager of Beijing Zhengda Ziyuan Co., Ltd. since November 2016. Mr. Zuo's previous positions include, among others, vice president at Shanghai Zhengda Investment Development Co., Ltd., Huaan Securities Co., Ltd. and Xingye Securities Co., Ltd. Mr. Zuo received his bachelor's degree from Renmin University of China in 1986 and master's degree from the Graduate School of the People's Bank of China in 1990.

  • Li Song

    Independent Director Nominee

    Ms. Li Song has served as our Director since June 2023. Ms. Song is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has 18 years of financial management and 8 years of financial teaching experience. Ms. Song has worked in financial management roles from 1997 to 2015 at various companies, such as Beijing Double Crane Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Beijing 95 Online Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Guoxin Tendering Group Co., Ltd. Since 2015, Ms. Song has worked as an associate professor at Canvard College of Beijing Technology and Business University. Ms. Song received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in 1997 and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Central University of Finance and Economics in 2012.

  • Jia Li

    Independent Director Nominee

    Mr. Li is an expert of media and communications in China. He has been serving as the Chief Strategy Officer and executive director of Chuanglian Holdings Limited (2371.HK) since 2013, after he joined the company as the head of marketing and operation in 2011. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Li served as Deputy General Manager at Beijing CRI Glory Advertising Co., Ltd. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Li held various managerial positions at multiple advertisement companies in Beijing. Mr. Li holds a bachelor’s degree from Capital Medical University and master’s degree from Nagasaki University.   

  • Li Li

    Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. Li Li has served as our Chief Financial Officer since October 2023. Mr. Li has over 20 years of financial management and audit working experience. Mr. Li had worked as audit and risk advisory manager for several CPA firms for more than 10 years, such as Deloitte, EY and Grant Thornton. Since then, he served as Finance Director for Secoo Holding Limited. and Guangdong Yuanzhi Technology Group. Mr. Li received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and a bachelor's degree in economics from Wuhan University in 2003.

  • Hui Gao

    Director

    Mr. Hui Gao,Male, born December 5, 1977 Ethnicity: Han Political Affiliation: Non-partisan Education: MBA, Hong Kong Baptist University Serial Entrepreneur In 2009, Hui Gao founded KanShu.com, an online literature platform. In 2010, the company secured investment from Sequoia Capital and quickly expanded in the mobile internet sector, becoming a leading force in China’s mobile digital literature industry. In 2013, KanShu.com was acquired by People.cn at a valuation of RMB 360 million. After leaving KanShu.com in 2016, Hui Gao invested in and founded Chengdu Eight Light Minutes Cultural Communication Co., Ltd.. Over the past decade, the company has grown into a leading enterprise in China’s science fiction industry, publishing hundreds of titles for clients. As a founding and guiding institution, it has played a key role in the operation of the China University Sci-Fi Alliance and major sci-fi events such as the Tianwen Award and Lenghu Award. The company has helped discover and nurture a new generation of Chinese science fiction authors, including Haiya—the third Chinese writer to win the Hugo Award, following Hao Jingfang and Liu Cixin. Beyond Eight Light Minutes, Hui Gao has invested in multiple companies in the digital publishing sector. Since 2023, leveraging his expertise and resources in digital publishing and AI technology, he has helped portfolio companies expand into overseas markets, successfully entering North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

  • Zhiyong Wang

    Director

    Mr. Zhiyong Wang, male, born on May 7, 1968. His professional credentials include Senior Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. He serves as a partner at Lixin Certified Public Accountants (Special General Partnership) Beijing Branch. Previously, he held independent director positions at Shandong Zhongfu Information Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Fuling Zhacai Group Co., Ltd., and was a bidding evaluation expert for Beijing government procurement projects. Since starting his career, Zhiyong Wang has been engaged in financial, tax, and auditing-related work, with years of experience in state organs, large central enterprises, and accounting firms. He possesses solid financial theoretical knowledge and extensive management experience, providing financial and tax advisory services to multiple companies. He has conducted in-depth research on corporate internal control and risk management. In 2003, as an external expert for the Supervisory Board of a large state-owned enterprise, he assisted the Supervisory Board in overseeing China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, China Overseas Engineering Corporation, and China Fuma Forestry Group Corporation, earning high praise from the Supervisory Board leadership. As a project leader, he participated in the National Audit Office's inspection of Sinopec Group, the China Banking Regulatory Commission's inspection of Agricultural Bank of China, and the Ministry of Finance's inspection of China Southern Power Grid Company, accumulating rich experience in securities business auditing.
